Joel has the wonderful testimony of a covenant child. Joel grew up in a Christian home in Southern California where his parents nurtured him in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. He cannot remember a day when he did not love Christ and his church and desire to serve him with all his heart. After receiving his B.A. in Biblical Studies at Seattle Bible College , Joel moved back to Southern California where he served as a youth Pastor while attending Westminster Seminary in California . During this time he married his lovely wife Marianne. They have been married now for 10 years and they have three boys: Samuel, Benjamin, and Nathanael. After receiving his M.Div. from WSCal Joel received a call to serve as an Associate Pastor in Burbank , CA . Having pastored for almost 4 years in Burbank , Joel was called to be the Organizing Pastor of Redemption Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Gainesville FL. Joel's pastimes include baseball, beach volleyball, and bass fishing, which he now enjoys playing with and teaching his boys.
