Identity Revealed

What happens when a hero's true identity is revealed? Is it not the kryptonite of all masked vigilantes? Sure fighting villains and saving the city is dangerous work, but if Clark Kent removes his glasses just once, if Bruce Wayne is found holding a Bat device, or if Peter Parker is seen web-slinging, their defeat is certain and their city is left venerable. To reveal a hero's identity in ordinary life places themselves and their loved ones in great jeopardy.

However, our struggle is not to hide our identity as Christians, but to daily reveal it to God's glory. The Bible reveals that a powerful God is working out His great plan of salvation for all nations, for all time. And those that experience His love and bear His name are called to be part of this heroic story as they face the daily trials of ordinary life.

This year at RYC we will explore our identity in Christ and how others may be blessed through our identity revealed.
